Guemes Island Fire Department

The burning of piles is strictly forbidden.  Campfires are allowed if they are contained within a ring made of cement blocks, stones or #10 gauge steel that is 18 inches high and no larger than 3 feet in diameter.   A 10-foot area free of combustible materials and overhanging branches or limbs must be maintained around the campfire.   Flames should not exceed 2 feet above the top of the ring.
